Hello! My name is Erica, I am the owner of You Betcha Bulldogs. I breed IOEBA and ABKC registered Olde English Bulldogges.

My family and I have been breeding dogs since 2021 but my work with animals started in 2007 when I volunteered at a rescue in rural Minnesota. Months after volunteering, I got a job in Animal Care at the Animal Humane Society in Golden Valley. I spent 8 years at the humane society in various rolls until I had my first daughter in 2013 and became a stay-at-home mom.

I fell in love with Bulldogs after we adopted our foster failure an English Bulldog named Gwen. Gwen was two years old and came from a puppy mill where she likely already had a couple of litters. She was terrified of everything but so sweet and we helped her come out of her shell. Working in the shelter and fostering Gwen really made me realize how important reputable breeders are. When my kids got a little older, I started entertaining the idea of dog breeding which was something I had always wanted to do. I considered breeding English Bulldogs, but I knew that they were notorious for having health issues and most of the time required c-sections to give birth, so I researched healthier bulldog breeds and stumbled across the Olde English Bulldogge. 

My goal as a breeder is to create a healthy family dog that has an amazing temperament. To achieve this we do health testing and raise the puppies in our home and consider health, structure, and temperament when choosing our studs and dams. We will have a very limited number of litters per year and all our puppies will be raised around kids and up to date on vet care before they come to your home.

All of our dogs are registered with the IOEBA and ABKC and come from excellent bloodlines (some even have champion bloodlines). They will go home microchipped and cleared by our vet. All parents have genetic testing done by Embark to ensure our puppies are not affected by over 200 genetic diseases.
